For nearly 30 years now I have gone away at New Year for a week with my old friends. In December 2018 we went to Cornwall, at the southwest tip of England. This picture was taken just after Christmas at Watergate Bay on the north coast, opposite southern Wales.
This was the first day I ever used "RAW" images from a professional grade camera, and make something that had a "professional" quality of look. I was recovering from a breach of trust in my telecoms career, and this opened a door to my new art endeavour! So this image has a meaning to me in my own learning journey as an artist far beyond its immediate aesthetic appeal.
