The Thames at Runnymede flows under the M25 motorway and A30 trunk road.
Runnymede is where the famous Magna Carta was signed by King John in 1215, putting the monarch under the rule of law. This image captures the flow of the river going one direction, and the (hidden) flow of traffic going perpendicular to it. There's a beauty to the lines of the bridge and their reflection in the water. This was also the very first piece of art I ever sold, and hence my entry into being a professional artist.
